Your Impact & Responsibilities

  • Remote position.
  • Developing front end website architecture.
  • Designing user interactions on web pages.
  • Developing back-end website applications.
  • Creating servers and databases for functionality.
  • Ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile phones.
  • Ensuring responsiveness of applications.
  • Working alongside graphic designers for web design features.
  • Seeing through a project from conception to finished product.
  • Designing and developing APIs.
  • Meeting both technical and consumer needs.
  • Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.
  • Follow all best practices and procedures as established by the company

Your Knowledge & Skills

  • Managing the complete software development process from conception to deployment
  • Maintaining and upgrading the software following deployment
  • Managing the end-to-end life cycle for the production of software and applications
  • Modifying and testing changes to previously developed programs
  • Front-end technology: Expertise in front-end technologies, including JavaScript, CSS3 and HTML5 and third-party libraries such as SaaS, jQuery, LESS and Phoenix
  • Development languages: Knowledge of server-side programming languages including Golang, Elixir, Python
  • Database and cache: Familiarity with DBMS technology, including PostgreSQL, MongoDB and MySQL and caching mechanisms such as Redis, Memcached and Varnish
  • Basic design ability: Including knowledge of UI/UX and basic prototype design
  • Server: Experience working with Nginx or Apache servers with a solid background in Linux
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Ability to visualize a proposed system and be able to build it
  • Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship from an employer now or in the future
