The role in a nutshell

This position will be a home office role for the Irish (All Island) market and involves the following responsibilities: 

  • Establish a solid relationship with non-existing Check Point clients i.e. Prospects
  • Responsible for business development in a list of pre-defined prospect accounts or new prospects introduced by the candidate
  • Relationship Management at all levels
  • Developing strong relationships with new prospect accounts executives
  • Managing and collaborating with internal resources to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Product and solution presentations
  • Understand how to sell security solutions to dislodge competitive point solutions based on TCO
  • Build strategy for each target prospect with account plan where necessary to obtain additional support from managers, Executives and even HQ 
  • Must be able to work within a team environment
  • Timely opportunity and pipeline management by using tools that accurately represents sales stage
  • Planning and organizing events in conjunction with channel partners
  • Preparation of forecast monthly/quarterly including weekly updates
  • Reports to the Ireland Country Manager, providing regular input on all account activity, including status and call reports on a weekly basis.

Your Knowledge & Skills

  • 3-8 years of experience in account management and sales within the IT industry
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of the sales cycle
  • Strong hunter within the technology area
  • Hands on and proven track record of sales achievements
  • Strong communicator and confident individual
  • Knowledge of the Cyber Security industry – highly preferred
  • Strong results orientated achiever used to Sales Strategies and value propositions.
  • Hunting skills/background
  • Solution selling background (TCO/ROI based approach)
  • Conceptual understanding of requirements and solutions
  • Ability to solve critical issues in a timely manner
  • Proven Account Management skills required in order to create, maintain and enhance customer satisfaction
  • Channel management experience or knowledge to be a plus
