Responsibilities
  • Become the Primary Hunter, Lead Generator and Front End of the Telco Business Unit
  • Responsible for uncovering, identifying and driving new business opportunities, relationships & partnerships
  • Effectively manage and find new business as well as manage end user account coverage and growth of the territory/country/region generating bookings
  • Build new opportunities for Check Point with the Telecom, Cable and ISP Provider Space
  • Utilize all sorts of professional Sales techniques to generate contacts and interest including cold calling
  • Develop new business through engagement of optimal resellers and leverage 3rd party partners as needed
  • Strong ability to work across matrix, channel and multiple internal Sales Engineering and Product mgt teams

Desired Background
  • 10+ years of Territory Management/Business Development experience
  • True Hunter, Business Development and Strategic Business Executive
  • Demonstrated success in driving complex software solutions into the global enterprise
  • Strong track record and reputation with the Telecom and Cable community
  • Position requires day to day and overnight travel
  • Heavy cold calling background required
  • Comfortable in a technical and a Senior level business environment
  • Good presence at Industry events
  • Must be a self-starter, hunter, and a strong closer
  • Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship from an employer now or in the future
